American Idol Season 6 - Week 6 ( Highlights)

American Idol hit a season-low this week but dominated on Tuesday night. Grey's Anatomy beat Idol on Thursday's vote-off show.

Water - OSCAR Nominated movie

Recognition to Bollywood movie again. The movie "Water" directed by Deepa Mehta nominated for the 79th Academy Award in the category of Best foreign language film. The film portrays the struggle of Indian widows. While shooting in India, Mehta recieved several death threats. Indian Govt withdrew the film permit after the movie location surrounded by riots. Eventually the movie shot somewhere in SriLanka.

Indian American astronaut Sunita Williams has spent more time spacewalking than any other woman and created the record. Her parents, Dr. Deepak and Mrs. Bonnie Pandya, reside in Massachusetts. She is the daughter of Deepak Pandya, a physician from Gujarat who migrated to the US. She is the 2nd Indian woman for NASA space mission after Kalpan Chawla.

2. Indra Nooyi
Indra Nooyi currently rank number 4 in the Forbes 100 powerful woman in the year 2006. Indra Nooyi is the new chairman of Pepsi Co. She has been the primary architect of PepsiCo’s restructuring and transformation.
